Painting of the Travilah OakThe 7th  annual celebration of Potomac's oldest resident - The Travilah Oak – estimated to be over 300 years old, was a huge success! This year the celebration benfited the Second Chance Wildlife Center.

We had a long list of activities, including:

Chinese Lion Dance, Karate Demonstration, Guide Dog Training Demonstration, Roving Magician, Forest Conservation Talks, Raffle Drawing, Live music by the Martin Family, miniature Horses, Pony Rides, Hay Rides, Group painting of the Travilah Oak, Pollination Exhibit, Master Gardeners, Locust Grove Nature Center, Leaf Printing, Face Painting, Scarecrow Making, Travilah Baptist Church, Flower Demo, Flags, Maps & Journeys, Forest Conservation/Rainscape Gardens, Hopkins & Porter Construction, Potomac Oak Center, Travilah Elementary School PTSA, Antique Fire Engines and Cars.
